What is a Slide Out Shelf?
A slide out shelf, which is also known as a pull out shelf, roll out shelf, or sliding shelf, is a shelf that can be pulled forward on railings (also referred to as slides). Slide out shelves are installed in new or existing cabinetry and allow homeowners to extend each shelf individually from the cabinet. The purpose of a slide out shelf is to improve visibility and accessibility to the back of the cabinet, while also maximizing storage and improving organization. Because slideout shelves glide in and out, our custom shelves come standard with a 4” height lip on all 4 sides of the box so items don’t fall out, making it much more like a kitchen drawer than a shelf.
