What is the Return Policy?
Our slideout shelves are made custom for your space and therefore we do not allow returns. No cabinet is made the same and so you can see it would be difficult to rehome your slideout shelf. Instead we allow an order to be cancelled within 48 hours of purchase before production has begun.
Do you offer warranty?
Yes! We warrant our product and install. The Shelf King will provide an agreement stating our warranty policy, which is of course included at no additional charge to you!
How does Warranty Service work?
First off, we have very few warranty calls and we attribute that to our product quality and install technique. But if you need to utilize your warranty, simply reach out to us and we will get you on the schedule for a service visit. We typically like to discuss the issue via phone call ahead of time (and a picture or video always helps) that way we can ensure we bring the proper tools or parts to resolve the issue.

Are The Shelf King Pullouts Waterproof?
Our slideouts are water resistant. They are sealed and can easily be wiped if needed.
Can I Cancel my order?
Yes, we ask that if you decide to cancel you notify us within 48 hours of your purchase. Otherwise we have started production and cannot cancel your order.
What is the expected Install time?
Install time will vary on the size of your order, but generally install will take 1-3 hours.
What is the expected Turnaround time?
Turnaround time will vary based on schedule availability, but generally 4-6 weeks.
Will The Shelf King make recommendations during consult?
Absolutely! That’s part of our process. We’ve seen 1000’s of cabinets and will make recommendations based off your feedback, what you have stored in the spaces and our experience. But please understand we pride ourselves on honesty and will never try to upsell you or suggest a product for a space we don’t think will improve your storage/functionality. We treat you like family and make recommendations accordingly.
Is The Shelf King product prefab or made to order?
All Shelf King product is custom and made-to-order. We have no inventory available for quick sale. We make each order custom to your home’s needs/specs.
What forms of Payment are accepted?
This may vary by location, but generally we accept check, Zelle, debit or credit card. Payment is split in to two payments: deposit and remaining balance.
Will The Shelf King Paint my slideouts?
No, we embrace our natural birch coloring! We don’t offer painting or color matching and we don’t recommend our product be painted after install. Our slideout shelves are sealed for water resistance purposes and this coating won’t respond correctly to paint/stains.
