9-Ply Baltic Birch, Dovetail Corners
Cheap slide-out trays sag and blow out at the corners after a year. Ours are real wood boxes with dovetail joints, built to outlast the cabinet they sit in.

Why We Started The Shelf King™
Chez and Whitney started The Shelf King in 2016. They watched their own parents, one with MS and one with Parkinson’s, struggle to use the kitchens they had cooked in for decades. Nobody should have to get on the floor to make dinner. So they started building shelves that come out to you.

How long does the whole thing take?
We come out and measure, then build your shelves to those measurements. Installation day is usually a few hours, and most homes are finished the same day. You keep using your kitchen the entire time.
Will they work around the plumbing under my sink?
Yes. Under-sink cabinets are one of the most common jobs we do. We measure around the pipes and the disposal and build the shelf to fit the space that is actually there.
My cabinets are old builder grade. Do they still work?
They do. We install into older and builder-grade cabinets every week. As long as the cabinet box is sound, we can mount to it.
How is this different from the organizers sold online?
Those come in standard sizes, so you lose an inch or two on each side and the trays are thin. Ours are measured to your exact opening and built from 9-ply Baltic birch with dovetail corners and steel ball-bearing slides.
Will they hold heavy pots and appliances?
Each shelf holds up to 100 pounds even when it is pulled all the way out. Cast iron, a stand mixer, and a stack of canned goods are no problem.
